MIRPUR:Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwaar ul Haq has said that the ongoing freedom struggle against India in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu Kashmir (IIOJK) will be taken to its logical conclusion despite all odds.

Addressing the say long Kashmir Conference hosted in the federal metropolis under the aegis of All Parties Hurriyat Conference on Wednesday,  the Prime Minister, while emphasizing on moral and religious obligations towards Kashmir cause, said, “We must not feel shy about using the word Jihad.

“India will be given a befitting reply in occupied Kashmir if it does not stop supporting terrorists and terrorism in Balochistan”, he added.“From Canada to Azad Kashmir, the Indian spying agency is engaged in conspiracies”, the PM added.

He, however, maintained that the government and the people of AJK won’t allow any such conspiracies to succeed. The PM paid tributes to the armed forces of Pakistan particularly the army chief, General Syed Asim Munir, for the courageous stand they took on the Kashmir issue.

He also thanked the people and government of Pakistan for their all out support to Kashmiris’ legitimate political struggle for right to self determination. ” The success of the ongoing freedom movement hinges on the collective efforts of the Azad Kashmir government, political parties, and the Hurriyat leadership”, he said.

“Our ancestors stood by it, we are also standing by it, and God willing, our future generations will also stand by it”, he said.

“It is not about power, but rather the spirit of faith and belief in God that empowers an individual to stand firm and confront a formidable adversary”, he said, adding that the two superpowers who have lost the war in our neighborhood bears a testimony to the fact.

Haq dismissed the notion that AJK’s political system had weakened, maintaining that the decision to negotiate with protesters was solely the initiative of the political government and its prime minister. “Governments emerge stronger, not weaker, when they successfully navigate through crises,” he said.

“If you manage to peacefully send your citizens back through negotiations, avoiding bloodshed that could have played into the enemy’s hands, your parliamentary system becomes one hundred per cent stronger,” Mr Haq said, adding that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his agencies, which were funding activities in AJK, sought to equate the oppression in occupied Kashmir with the situation in Azad Kashmir.

“But here, we have an alert prime minister and an alert cabinet. Everyone understands the global challenges and the objectives behind this protest. Even the protest leadership realised that matters were slipping out of their hands. It’s easy to gather a crowd but dispersing it peacefully is a far more challenging task. Everyone played their role, and matters were resolved amicably,” the AJK prime minister said.

Mr Haq expressed gratitude for the youth and social media users who launched campaigns defending him, saying that “it’s a positive sign that opposition arises when you clash with the status quo and fight dishonesty”.

Expressing gratitude to the central leadership of the PML-N and PPP, Mr Haq said the government would pursue its mission of public welfare with greater vigour now that the political atmosphere in AJK had cleared.

Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq has said that Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif’s presence in the state on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day was proof of Pakistan’s steadfast support for the Kashmiri people’s just and legitimate struggle to realize their right to self-determination.

Addressing a special session of the AJK Legislative Assembly in the state metropolis, convened on Kashmir Solidarity Day to express solidarity with struggling people in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the AJK PM said, “Pakistan is our destiny and the state of Pakistan is the biggest obstacle in the way of India’s expansionist designs”.

In this era of narrative warfare, the PM said that stability of Pakistan was the Kashmiris’ top priority.

Reiterating his commitment to further strengthen the bond between the people of Kashmir and Pakistan, the PM said, “This undying spirit of brotherhood will be transformed from generation to generation”, adding that “we are Pakistanis and Pakistan is ours.”

Denouncing Indian state terrorism in occupied Kashmir, he said, the global community should take urgent notice of the Indian war crimes.
